A mouthwatering savoury snacks. Either of Banana leaves or vazhana Leaves can be used for preparing kumbilappam.

- Jack fruit pulp - 1 cup
- Roasted rice flour - 1 cup
- Jaggery - 1 cup
- Grated Coconut - 1 cup
- Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
- Salt - a pinch
- Grate jaggery and mix with grated coconut in a grinder adding little water.
- Grind coarsely.
- Add rest of the ingredients, mix thoroughly. Keep for 10 minutes.
- The batter should be little more thicker than dosa batter.
- Use the leaves and steam the kumbilappam.
