Pulissery - Kerala Special Receipe

  • 2 cups curds
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 green chili
  • ½ tsp mustard seeds
  • 2 tbsp chopped shallots or onion
  • 6-7 curry leaves
  • Salt, water
Preparation Method:
  1. Beat the curds until smooth and stir in the turmeric powder.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp coconut oil and add the mustard seeds.
  3. When the seeds splutter, add the chopped shallots, curry leaves and green chili.
  4. Lower the heat to minimum and pour the curds in. Add water if required.
  5. Heat with stirring, and take off heat before it comes to a boil.
  6. Serve hot.
